Oldie but a goodie?

Who doesn't love a new take on an oldie but goodie? This season the traditional button down has taken a turn. It's gone rogue. This classic silhouette has gone from preppy and corporate to distressed, destructed and crazy. The best part about it is that there are countless ways to wear destructed oxfords. I paired this shirt dress with ripped jeans for a classic twist. However, I would pair a destructed oxford shirt with a mini skirt, jean shorts with a belt, or a pair of wide legged pants. This style comes in shirts, dresses and bralettes all with the option of layering on top of each other (Prada did this on the runway a few months back). The shirt dress i'm wearing below also incorporates another trend this season: the shoulder reveal, or as I like to call it the "one shoulder cold shoulder". This is one of my favorite trends this season. It works especially well for any petite girl since it elongates your neck and makes you look longer and taller! These two trends will take us through summer and into fall.

Ps. The one shoulder trend is also a good excuse to show off your summer tan
